Celebrity Exes Who May Cross Paths at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding

Love may be in the air for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during their dreamy, whimsical wedding — but the occasion will also reunite several former couples.

Swift and Kelce got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating, often sharing their excitement about planning a wedding and, thus, tying the knot.

“I think the wedding is what happens after [my Life of a Showgirl promotional tour] in the scheme of the planning, but I’m so excited about it,” Swift succinctly said on the Graham Norton Show in October 2025. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.”

Swift got her wish, inviting upwards of a thousand famous faces to her big day on July 3, 2026, at New York City’s Madison Square Garden to toast the soon-to-be newlyweds.

Swift is famously close pals with both Antonoff and Dunham, who dated from 2012 to 2017 . The exes were each spotted at Swift’s rehearsal dinner one night prior and expected to attend the ceremony, as well.

Should Antonoff and Dunham reunite at Swift’s wedding, it would be the first time since the Girls creator recalled her relationship with the musician in her Famesick memoir. In the book, Dunham claimed that she cheated on Antonoff before he pulled the plug.

“When I woke up, he was in the kitchen. He said he was hungry, and we ordered breakfast, unpacking egg sandwiches and bacon strips from the diner where we had a charge account,” she wrote in her April 2026 memoir. “But I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t pretend. ‘I think we both know … we haven’t been making each other ha-a-appy,’ I stuttered before sobs overtook me. We put our foreheads together and wept.”

She added in the chapter, “In some fit of delusion, I asked if we could still go on dates. … We told each other everything lovely that either of us might ever have wanted to hear.”

It’s not known whether Antonoff and Dunham’s respective spouses, Margaret Qualley and Luis Felber , attended the nuptials.

Cooper attended Swift and Kelce’s rehearsal dinner and ceremony with his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid . The couple have been together since 2023, forming a close bond with the future married couple.

Waterhouse, for her part, attended the rehearsal dinner solo in a tulle Carolina Herrera midi dress and is also expected to be present for the wedding ceremony. While the Daisy Jones & The Six star is now in a relationship with Robert Pattinson , she was previously linked to Cooper from 2013 to 2015.

Sheeran and Goulding were both on the guest list despite their 2013 fling. As Sheeran claimed in his song “Don’t,” he dated Goulding before she cheated on him with One Direction alum Niall Horan .

“But you didn’t need to take him to bed, that’s all / And I never saw him as a threat,” Sheeran sings. “Until you disappeared with him to have sex, of course / It’s not like we were both on tour / We were staying on the same f***ing hotel floor.”

Goulding blasted the infidelity rumors as “false” in a 2023 social media comment.

For the wedding ceremony, Sheeran stepped out with wife Cherry Seaborn. Goulding, meanwhile, is in a relationship with Beau Minniear .
