Kelly Osbourne Gets Tattoo for Dad Ozzy Ahead of Anniversary of His Death

Kelly Osbourne has found a permanent way to honor her dad, Ozzy Osbourne , nearly one year after his death.

The English fashion designer, 41, paid tribute to the late heavy metal legend with a symbolic tattoo as she became one of the first people to get inked on the London Eye landmark on Wednesday, July 1.

Photos from the “World’s First Rotating Tattoo Studio” pop-up event showed Kelly getting a tattoo of Ozzy’s round glasses, his signature accessory, on her upper thigh. She wore a white and red polka dot dress with red ankle socks and black and white shoes.

The body art was done by Miles Langford, the founder of tattoo brand The London Social, which hosted the event.

“Thank you! There is no one else I would trust with this,” Kelly wrote to the tattoo artist on a Polaroid snap of him working on her leg piece, as seen in another photo from the outing.

Kelly received her new tattoo ahead of the first anniversary of her father’s death. Ozzy died at age 76 on July 22, 2025, his family confirmed at the time.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” they shared in a statement to Us Weekly . “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Ozzy’s cause of death was later revealed to be cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease, which he was diagnosed with in 2019.

Ozzy shared Kelly, as well as daughter Aimee , 42, and son Jack , 40, with wife Sharon Osbourne . The singer was also a dad to daughter Jessica , 54, and son Louis , 51, with ex-wife Thelma Riley . He also adopted Riley’s son from a previous relationship, Elliot , 60.

Weeks after the Black Sabbath singer’s death, Kelly took to Instagram to open up about dealing with grief.

“Grief is a strange thing,” she wrote in August 2025. “It sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be OK for a while — but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I’m holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind.”

Ahead of Father’s Day 2026, Kelly exclusively told Us that she’s “ getting a little bit better every day.”

“The pain will never go away, and I’ll never be the person I was before he died again,” she said. “But I’m getting to know the new me.”

When asked who is the “new” Kelly, she responded, “I’m still figuring it out.”

The reality TV personality later paid tribute to Ozzy on the first Father’s Day since his death.

“Dad, I still find myself looking for you in ordinary moments, the advice I need, the joke I want to tell, the victory I wish you could see,” she wrote via Instagram on June 21. “The ache of missing you is the price of loving you, and I would pay it forever rather than have never been your child at all! I will never stop missing you. It is an honor to spend the rest of my life loving you. Until we meet again! 💔.”
